Key Stage 5

Languages have been a popular choice in the Sixth Form and our French, German, Spanish and Italian groups have enjoyed a healthy uptake at both AS and A2 Levels. The students benefit from nine hours of teaching every two weeks in addition to a one-hour conversation lesson with native speakers .

Arden has a state of the art brand new Sixth Form building equipped with the latest technology and resources to support the independent learning of our students. Our A-level students can take advantage of our satellite room and a range of reading and listening resources to maximise the learning of a foreign language.

The examination board used for A Level qualifications in Languages is AQA apart from Italian which is Edexcel.
