We are proposing to amend the current priority 6 ‘children of staff’ as follows:
· Currently – this priority is applicable to staff employed at Arden Academy.
· Proposal – this priority will be applicable to staff employed by Arden Multi Academy Trust.
Please note that all other priorities remain unchanged from the current Admission Arrangements.

Applications to start Arden in Year 7 – September 2019
Applications for places in Year 7 at Arden for September 2019 need to be made via Solihull Local Authority.
If you live outside Solihull you must apply to your home Local Authority even if you want to include Arden on your application.
The closing date for applications is 31st October 2018.
Applications to start Arden at any other time
Please contact Solihull Local Authority’s School Admissions Team for guidance on applying for a place at Arden at any other time after the normal intake.

If your child currently attends a school outside Solihull, you should contact that school’s Local Authority.
If you are not offered a place at Arden you have the right of appeal against the decision not to allocate a place to your child. Appeals are heard by an independent panel. You can get an appeal form from Solihull Local Authority School Admissions on 0121 704 6693 or [email protected].
