Key Stage 3

Mathematics

In 2017, 79% of our students achieved an Arden Grade 4 or above and 26% achieved an Arden Grade 6 or above at the end of Key Stage 3.

At Key Stage 3 we have introduced a new scheme of work following the new national curriculum.  This aims to prepare pupils for the new GCSE examinations from 2017.  We use a variety of interactive tasks to ignite a passion for mathematics, as well as lessons on proof and rich learning tasks where pupils have more time to explore the complexities of the topics involved.
