Enrichment

It is our vision to ensure our students leave Sixth Form with more than just a set of A Levels. This is why we have timetabled two periods per week dedicated to enrichment activities of their choice. These range from lesson support and Sports to volunteering in our local community. We also offer the opportunity for students to be part of a Young Enterprise team through a selection process or to study for the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) as an additional subject. Universities and employers are constantly looking for school leavers with extra curricular interests.

Furthermore, we offer a ‘Futures’ programme which covers all aspects of Post 18 pathways. We have external visitors from Universities and Apprenticeship providers giving information and guidance to various aspects of future careers. In addition to this, we also provide each student with a mock interview based on their current career path, giving our students a valuable and realistic experience. This programme is also used to help students prepare their personal statement/CV.

We also have an alliance with ‘Elevate’ who visit the school to deliver assemblies to help students manage their studies and work to their full potential.
