Welcome to Arden and the start of what promises to be a very exciting and dynamic year! Each September we look forward to welcoming new staff and students to our successful school community; this year we are delighted to be opening our doors to more students than ever particularly in Year 7 as there will now be ten registration groups. There will also be over 200 Year 12 students including 70 students from other Solihull schools. This mix of students is just one of the reasons our Sixth form is so special. We are all anticipating a fantastic year ahead and can assure every student joining the Arden family they will be inspired to reach their full potential and develop into happy, well-rounded young adults. At Arden we pride ourselves on creating an environment where each student can truly flourish and would encourage them to experience the many opportunities on offer.
We are certain our new and existing students will be impressed with the new £4m teaching block that has been completed during the summer holidays. The building will have state of the art facilities for Mathematics, Geography, ICT and Physics. Sixth Form students will also have purpose built independent study spaces. In all, the building will have over twenty classrooms and will be a wonderful addition to the learning environment of the school.
"I am inordinately proud of Arden students and staff who, by working together as a successful and cohesive team, exemplify the Arden values of ‘friendship, respect, excellence, equality, courage, determination and inspiration’. These values are at the very heart of Arden’s ethos and are the code by which we all aspire to live and learn."
