We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Year 11 students as they receive their GCSE and BTEC results today. We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to every student and their family on a fantastic set of outcomes that reflect years of hard work, resilience and determination.

Behind every result is a unique story of perseverance, commitment and personal growth. Whilst we are hugely proud of the headline measures, it is important to remember that these results represent much more than grades alone. They reflect the countless hours of revision, the determination shown when subjects became challenging and the resilience demonstrated by students throughout their time at Arden.

We are delighted that our students achieved a staggering 216 grade 9’s across our GCSE subjects, with a quarter of our GCSE grades being awarded at grade 8 and 9 and an incredible 37% of our vocational grades awarded at Distinction or Distinction*.

We are particularly pleased with the strength of performance across the curriculum, with students achieving excellent outcomes in both academic and vocational qualifications. The breadth of success reflects the commitment of our staff and students to ensuring that every learner is given the opportunity to thrive and achieve their potential.

We are also delighted that students from all starting points have achieved excellent outcomes. Whether students have secured the very highest grades, achieved personal targets, overcome barriers to learning or secured the qualifications needed for their chosen next steps, they should all be incredibly proud of their achievements today.

It is hard to single out individual success stories as there are so many but it would be remiss not to make note of the incredible achievements of Misha Bukovych who achieved 10 Grade 9’s and Gabriel Cheuk who achieved 9 Grade 9’s and a Distinction*.

Our students results would not have been possible without the dedication and professionalism of our staff, who have worked tirelessly to support and inspire students throughout their school journey. We would also like to thank parents and carers for the encouragement, support and partnership they have provided over the last five years.

As our Year 11 students begin the next stage of their education, we wish them every success. We are looking forward to welcoming many of them back into the Arden Sixth Form, whilst others move on to apprenticeships, colleges and training opportunities. Whatever pathway they choose, we are confident that they leave us exceptionally well prepared for the future.

Today is a day for celebration. We are immensely proud of everything this cohort has achieved and look forward to seeing what they accomplish next.
