Welcome to Arden
I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Arden.
Arden is an ambitious, successful and inclusive school where every student is known, valued and supported to achieve their very best. Our culture is shaped by three core values: Aspiration, Resilience and Belonging.
Aspiration drives us to aim high in everything we do. We encourage all students to be ambitious for themselves, both academically and personally, and to embrace the opportunities that will help them achieve their goals.
Resilience enables our students to approach challenges with confidence, determination and perseverance. We want young people who are prepared to step outside their comfort zone, learn from setbacks and develop the strength of character needed to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Belonging reflects the inclusive and supportive environment that makes Arden such a special place. We are proud of the relationships between students, staff, parents and governors, and of the strong sense of community that ensures everyone feels valued, respected and able to contribute.

Through our broad and ambitious curriculum, alongside an extensive programme of co-curricular opportunities, we enable students to discover their passions, develop their talents and achieve success across a wide range of areas. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, on the stage, through leadership opportunities or within our many clubs and enrichment activities, students are encouraged to engage fully in school life and develop into confident, well-rounded young people.
We are exceptionally proud of the achievements of our students and of the destinations they secure when they leave us. More importantly, we are proud of the kind, respectful and resilient young adults they become. Our students value education, understand the importance of hard work and leave Arden well prepared for the next stage of their lives, whether that is further education, employment or training.
