Absence
For safeguarding purposes, absences should be reported every day, before 8.30am. This can be done by ONE (not all) of the following:

Absence Line: 01564 773348, menu option 2 – please give child’s name, form and reason.

Synergy App: through the app (instructions to be communicated at the start of the year).
We need a clear reason for absence so this can be coded accordingly. (eg, ‘not in school’ is not a clear reason and will be unauthorised).
Any student with an authorised reason to leave school site must scan out (using the ID card provided) upon departure, and if returning back, students must scan themselves back in. Our scanning system records the students that are on site during the school day and is used in the event of a fire. It is in no way linked to the form/class registers and students MUST ensure they have scanned when in school as this is a health and safety requirement.
