Welcome message from the Principal

Arden opened its doors to students back in 1959 as a two form entry school for 11-15 year olds. There are now eight forms per year, ten in year 7, a successful Sixth Form and over 1600 pupils.  How times have changed!  This means there are many people who have enjoyed an Arden education over the years and we would like to take this opportunity to reconnect with our former students. We believe that once you've studied at Arden, whenever it may have been, it's a relationship for life - you are part of the Arden 'family'.

The Arden family has a bond with its past and links to the future, which is embodied in the school motto: Ad Altiora - Towards Higher Things. We like to think that your time at Arden equipped you with skills to achieve success in many fields; politics, academia, sports, the professions, and the visual and performing arts.

Our aim in establishing the Arden alumni Registration Form is to further connect the past and the future, to add a sense of continuity to the Arden family; past, present and future. We are excited about this new chapter in Arden's history and would like to thank you for your interest.

With best wishes

Martin P Murphy

Did you graduate in 1982?  A group of 82ers meet regularly around Knowle and Dorridge for a catch up over a drink or bite to eat and would love to hear from more classmates.

The group also meet up annually at Lechlade Music Festival in the Cotswolds in May, which is organised by Jennie Rainsford (was Turner).

If you’d like to be added to the ‘Class of 82’ Facebook group or find out more about forthcoming meet ups ( or just find out who goes along first!) contact Jennie at [email protected] or via Facebook
