It is with great sadness I share with you the news that Derek Smart has passed away. This follows a long spell of illness.
Students in Year 9 will soon be choosing which courses to study in Key Stage 4. This is an exciting and important decision about the subject areas they wish to pursue alongside core learning such as English and Mathematics.
Arden's recent production of 'Little Shop of Horrors' was a phenomenal success - the commitment shown by every student ensured the quality of each performance.
Arden's new Year 7 intake were invited to take part in a project in conjunction with Birmingham Museums. They were asked to produce a response inspired by what they had seen when they visited one of the museums during the summer. The results were amazing!
Arden is delighted to have received a letter from the Rt Hon David Laws MP, the Secretary of State for Schools congratulating Arden on the excellent Key Stage 4 examination results achieved in 2013.
