Principal's welcome

Spring heralds new beginningsā€¦this is very evident as we start the new term. I am delighted to announce that as of Monday 1 April, we became a Multi Academy Trust which is an immensely positive progression for the Arden family. This development will allow us to continue to enhance teaching and learning in many ways, recruit and retain the very best teachers and allow our staff to develop across the Trust and thus increase the learning opportunities for all our students. We are also privileged to welcome new directors to the AMAT (Arden Multi Academy Trust), all of whom will bring a wealth of experience, expertise and leadership skills to the table; ensuring the continued success of Arden.

You will also be aware that we are moving into difficult financial times where all schools will see a significant decrease in funding. This is made worse for us as Solihull is one of the lowest funded authorities in the country. The opportunities of ensuring better value are much greater across the schools within the Multi-Academy Trust and this will help minimise some of the negative financial impacts.
